Crazy-horse leather is full-grain cowhide treated with a wax finish that reacts to every touch, fold, and scratch — that's the point. Light surface marks and pull-up streaks appear immediately and are a built-in characteristic of the material, not a flaw. Over weeks and months of use, heat and friction from your hands cause the wax to redistribute, gradually deepening the color and producing a rich, unique patina. No two bags age identically.

What is normal:

• Pull-up effect — areas lighten when stretched and darken again with warmth
• Uneven color variation that mellows and evens out over time

What is a defect:

• Structural cracks, delamination, or broken stitching
• Permanent staining from chemicals or prolonged moisture exposure
