Description
Antique wooden homeopathic apothecary chest with 12 small clear glass bottles and fitted glass stoppers, offered together as pictured. Several bottles retain period paper remedy labels, including Aconitum and Bryonia. At least one bottle is embossed “Lewis Sherman, Milwaukee”; the mark has not been verified as the maker of the entire chest.
The hinged wooden box has a front latch and fitted compartments. The wood, labels and glass show age and wear, including discoloration around some bottle necks. Please review all photographs for condition. Age and any remaining contents or residue have not been independently verified.
